Terms of Service for AmniShield & AmniHaze

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using AmniShield, AmniHaze, or the AmniShield Web Console (collectively provided by Al-Haq Studio, "we," "our," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use our software.

2. Open-Source Core & Supporter Pass Model

  • 100% Free Core Protection: Core distraction blocking, local keyword filtering, 50,000+ domain protection, and on-device AI visual blurring (LiteRT/TensorFlow.js) are free and open-source forever.
  • Pro Supporter Passes: Users who wish to support our mission and unlock cross-device cloud synchronization, ephemeral device pairing, and offline cryptographic seat management can subscribe or purchase a Supporter Pass:
    • Monthly Subscription: $4.99 per month (auto-renewing until canceled).
    • Annual Pass: $39.99 per year (auto-renewing until canceled, includes 33% discount).
    • Lifetime Pass: $89.99 one-time purchase (perpetual access, no recurring fees).
  • Multi-Device Seat Allowance: Each active Supporter Pass permits enrollment of up to 5 personal or family devices (Android phones/tablets, Windows PCs, and Browser Extensions).
  • 30-Day Refund Policy: All Supporter Pass purchases include a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, contact support@alhaq.uk within 30 days of purchase for a prompt refund.

3. Offline Cryptographic Licensing

AmniShield Pro features utilize offline NIST P-256 ECDSA public key cryptography (`SHA256withECDSA`). Your license key contains a digitally signed payload that validates entirely on your local hardware. You do not need an active internet connection to maintain Pro features once your key is activated.

4. Guardian / Parental Control Mode Responsibilities

AmniShield includes a Guardian Mode for family and parental device management. By utilizing Guardian Mode to enforce non-bypassable app blocking, web filters, and master PIN protection on secondary devices, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the parent, legal guardian, or authorized owner of the managed device.
  • You will use the service in compliance with all applicable child safety, privacy, and digital protection laws.
  • You will not use Guardian Mode to unlawfully stalk, coerce, or harass adult individuals without their informed consent.

5. Payment Processing & Subscriptions

All payments for Supporter Passes are processed through Stripe via secure SSL/TLS encryption. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled prior to the renewal date via the Customer Portal in the Web Console. Cancellation retains access until the end of the paid billing period.

6. System Permissions & Platform Limitations

AmniShield relies on Android and desktop operating system APIs (including Accessibility Services, Usage Access, and MediaProjection screen overlay services) to enforce content boundaries. Disabling required platform permissions or device battery optimizations may impede automatic background enforcement.

7. Religious, Wellness & Accuracy Disclaimers

AmniShield provides digital wellness, modesty, and focus tools in good faith to assist users in maintaining wholesome screen habits. While our on-device LiteRT neural models and domain filters achieve high accuracy, no automated filtering algorithm is 100% infallible. AmniShield is an aid to intentional habit formation, not a substitute for personal mindfulness or parental guidance.

8. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer

AmniShield is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. In no event shall Al-Haq Studio or the Al-Haq Initiative be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the software.
